This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to extend the period of Journey License for holding and carrying the licensed arm by petitioner i.e., N.P.B. revolver 32 bore No.4740 for entire period of one year instead of limited period which has already been granted to the petitioner. 4. From perusal of the writ petition, it transpires that one month period was granted to the petitioner to carry the arm within the State of Uttarakhand. 5. From the aforesaid facts it appears that the writ petition has rendered infructuous, due to efflux of time. 6. Accordingly writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. (Pankaj Purohit, J.) 12.03.2026 SK
