When this Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy) appearing for the respondents would submit that the aforesaid pursuant to the direction issued by this Court on 31.01.2017 in WMP.No.34766 of 2016 in W.P.No.40799 of 2016 and subsequently this Court in W.P.No.8791 of 2022 on 11.08.2022 issued a direction to amend the cut off date in the aforesaid Government Order dated 30.01.2017 and as per the direction, the amendment was also carried out. 3. In view of the above, pursuant to the order of the Division Bench, the aforesaid Government Order is passed and therefore the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and hence this Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to proceed in accordance with law, if so advised. No costs.
