The petitioner herein filed W.P(MD)No.15349 of 2016 for removing the encroachment on a public pathway committed by one Gomathi and her husband Ravichandran. This Court had disposed of the said writ petition on 08.08.2017. Subsequently, several developments have taken place. The jurisdictional Tahsildar passed eviction order under Section 6 of the Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The encroacher’s appeal as well as revision were dismissed. Challenging the same, the encroacher had filed W.P(MD)No.26108 of 2019. It was dismissed by us today. We direct the jurisdictional Tahsildar to enforce the eviction order as expeditiously as possible. 2.With the aforesaid direction, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
