The present Petition has been filed under Section 25-B(8) of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 [“DRC Act”], challenging the final Impugned Judgment and Order dated 07.05.2018 passed by the learned Additional Rent Controller-02, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi in E-148/16 (New No. 480908/16). 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties, on instructions, submit that the parties are ad idem that the Petitioners be permitted to be in occupation of the premises for a period of seven (07) months from today, subject to the payment of the rent which is currently being paid. Petitioners also waive their rights exercisable under Section 19 of the DRC Act. This is a digitally signed order. In view thereof, the Petitioners are held to their statements that the premises shall be vacated on or before 31.03.2027 and any rights under Section 19 of the DRC Act are waived and shall not be exercised by them. Accordingly, in view of the understanding between the parties, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required to be passed in the present Petition. Let the undertaking be filed within a period of two (02) weeks from today, failing which the Petitioners will be liable to vacate the premises forthwith. In the event of a breach of the undertaking, the Respondent is at liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings, inter alia for contempt of Court. 5.
