By order dated 17.03.2026, the status report of the case was called for from the Court below. The status report has been submitted vide Letter No. 1067 of 2026 dated 26.03.2026. From the said report, it appears that charges against the petitioner were framed on 26.03.2026 for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/34, 312/34, 313/34 and 315/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Pursuant to the framing of charge, a total of eight prosecution witnesses have been examined. The prosecution evidence has been closed and the case has been Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61465 of 2018(8) dt.13-08-2026 2/2 fixed for recording the statement of the accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 3.
