02. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the contemnors/opposite parties submits that the order dated 19.06.2018 passed in CWJC No. 7083 of 2018 has been complied and in this regard a show cause has been filed and Annexure-D shows despite a number of opportunity, the
Patna High Court MJC No.4433 of 2018(7) dt.20-08-2026 2/2 petitioner did not produce any clarification, evidence or document in order to enable the Sub-divisional Officer, Hathua to take an appropriate decision in the light of the orders of this Court. Learned counsel emphasizes that the matter was remanded to the Sub-divisional Officer, Hathua for taking decision afresh in the matter after serving show cause notice upon the petitioner and granting an opportunity of hearing in accordance with law. Learned counsel also submits that the supply of the petitioner was never closed and therefore, in terms of orders of this Court, the supply has been continuing in favour of the petitioner.
03. Perusal of record shows even on the last date of hearing, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the contemnors submits that the order stands complied. Therefore, nothing remains in the matter and hence, the contempt proceeding stands dropped.
