HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD APPLICATION U/S 482 No. - 36741 of 2018 Court No. - 83 HON'BLE SUBHASH CHANDRA SHARMA, J. Supplementary affidavit filed today by learned counsel for the applicants is taken on record. Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned counsel for the opposite party as well as learned A.G.A. and perused the material on record. It is submitted that in this case both the parties are entered into compromise and matter in dispute has been settled amicably and compromise has also been verified before the learned trial court regarding which report transmitted by the learned court dated 21.01.2026 is on record, therefore, request to quash the entire proceedings of the case on the basis of compromise between the parties. Learned counsel for the opposite party as well as learned A.G.A. has no objection in this regard. On considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submissions made by learned counsel for both the parties as well as learned A.G.A. and the fact that dispute between the parties has been settled amicably and compromise entered into between the parties which has already been verified by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 10, Meerut dated 21.01.2026 copy of which is on record, therefore, it will be of no use to keep the proceedings pending before the learned court. As a result, it will be in the interest of justice to quash the entire proceedings of the case in terms of compromise. Accordingly, the entire proceedings including charge-sheet dated 07.01.2018, cognizance order dated 18.07.2018 in Criminal Case No. 6186 Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Mohd. Javed Akhtar, Pradeep Saxena, Shashi Shanker Shukla, Ved Prakash Mishra Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : G.A., Aditya Prasad Misra Anees And 5 Others .....Applicant(s) State Of U.P.And Another .....Opposite Party(s) of 2016 (State Vs. Anees and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 83 of 2017, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C. at Police Station Civil Lines, District Meerut pending in the court of learned 4th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Meerut are hereby quashed in terms of compromise between the parties.
