By way of filing the instant petition, a prayer has been made for issuing directions to the respondent-Authorities to provide safety and protection to the petitioner. Prior to filing the instant petition, the petitioner has approached the District Magistrate, by way of filing an application under Rule 20 (5) of the Rajasthan Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2010 for protection of life and personal safety, however, no order has been (2 of 2) [CRLW-659/2018] placed on record with regard to the outcome of the said application. 2. The petitioner is at liberty to file one more application, before the Authorities concerned seeking protection, within a period of four weeks from today. In case, such application is submitted by the petitioner before the Authorities concerned, it is expected from the said Authority to decide the said application strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months thereafter, after providing due opportunity of hearing to all the respective parties. 3.
