CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL DUTTA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 2 16-03-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for Union of India.
2. The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the entire criminal proceeding arising out of Prosecution report no. 14C2/2011 filed by the Labour Enforcement Officer (Central) for the offences punishable under Section 6 of Equal Remuneration Act, 1976 and order dated 10.01.2011 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda by which cognizance was taken against the petitioner under Section 6 of Equal Remuneration Act, 1976 and also
directed for issuance of summon.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59920 of 2018(2) dt.16-03-2026 2/2 case has become infructuous, accordingly, the same may be
disposed of.
4. Learned A.P.P. for the State has no objection to this prayer of the petitioners.
5. In view of the submissions of the learned counsels for the parties, the present case is disposed of having become infructuous.
