Saikai, the learned counsel for the respondent. Page No.# 2/2 2. It is submitted at bar that this matter was referred to mediation and during mediation process, the opposite parties have arrived at an amicable settlement to settle the matter by the Insurance Company paying an additional amount of Rs. 6,00,000/- to the respondent/claimant. 3. In support of their contentions, the parties have produced a letter dated 16.06.2026 addressed to the Registrar General by the Chief Regional Manager of the appellant Insurance Company, whereby it is acknowledged that the Insurance Company has agreed to settle the instant appeal on paying an additional amount of Rs.6,00,000/-. 4. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, this appeal is disposed of in terms of the settlement arrived at between them. 5. Let the letter dated 16.06.2026 produced before this Court by the learned counsel for the appellant be kept in the record as part of it after marking the same as ‘X’. 6. The respondent Insurance Company shall deposit agreed amount of Rs. 6,00,000/- before the Registry of this Court within a period of four weeks from the date of this order. On such, deposit, the same shall be disbursed by the Registry to the claimant after proper verification. 7. This appeal is accordingly, dismissed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
