BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE N. UNNI KRISHNAN NAIR ORDER Date : 10-03-2026 Mr. M.U. Mondal, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the fact that the petitioner, at the relevant point of time, was also appointed as the Principal of the J.M. Higher Secondary School, Mankachar and has, thereafter, retired from his service on reaching the age of superannuation, the challenge in the present proceeding to the selection and appointment of the respondent No. 6 as Principal, I.N. Academy Higher Secondary School, Bilasipara has been rendered infructuous. Accordingly, he prays that
Page No.# 3/3 the present writ petition be closed. The prayer is not objected to by Mr. S.M.T. Chisti, learned standing counsel, School Education, Assam and Mr. A. Khanikar, learned counsel representing respondent No. 6. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition stands closed as having been rendered infructuous.
