The petition, with the efflux of time, has been rendered infructuous in the light of the fact that the engagement of respondent No.5, which has been called in question by the petitioner, has since been withdrawn and the said order has also been called in question by the petitioner. 2. Mr. Achal Sharma, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No. 5 submits that, even otherwise, in the light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court in case titled “Union Territory of J&K and Ors. Vs. Saba Wani” decided on 03.04.2026 and the rider imposed therein, the instant petition cannot proceed. Therefore, in the light of the aforesaid development and also in the light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex court, the petition has been rendered infructuous and a prayer has been made for disposal of the same. I am in agreement with the submission made by learned counsel for respondent No. 5 and also by Mr. Raman Sharma, learned AAG appearing on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 4. 4. The instant petition, in the light of the aforesaid development and also in the light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court, is accordingly disposed of, having been rendered infructuous. 5.
