Prayer made in the present petition is for commanding the respondents to implement the panel prepared by the Zonal Education Officer Ghordi, District Udhampur for engagement as Rehbar-e-Taleem Teacher in Primary School Lehu (NPS), Zone Ghordi in pursuance of Advertisement dated 20.05.2014 and engage the petitioner as Rehbar- e-Taleem Teacher in Primary School Lehu (NPS), Zone Ghordi. 2. The respondents have filed response, stating therein that there exists no room for the petitioner as the RET Scheme has been closed. 3. Hon’ble the Supreme Court of India, in case titled as Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and others vs. Saba Wani reported in 2026 INSC 439, has issued slew of directions so far as the appointment of RET Teachers is concerned. 4. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. 5.
