By means of the present petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent-authorities for their willful/deliberate disobedience for not implementing the order and judgment dated February 06, 2018 passed in SWP No. 118/2018 (Liaqat Hussain vs. State of J&K and ors.). 2. A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to make detailed representation to the Director Health Services Jammu-respondent no.2, who shall accord consideration and dispose of the same within a specified time frame. 3. Per compliance report filed on behalf of respondents, the claim of the petitioner was considered by the respondent-Authorities and rejected vide order dated November 20, 2020: ‘2. That after receiving the copy of the judgment, relevant information is collected and after examining the service record of the petitioner, the claim of the petitioner for refixation of his seniority was found without any merit and the same has been Sr.No. 44 rejected having found devoid of any merit vide order No. DHSJ/Legal /11773-76 dated 20.11.2020 (Annexure R1).’ 4. In the wake of the above, nothing substantive survives in the present petition, the same is, accordingly, dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
