In this petition, the petitioners is seeking to challenge the notification issued by the respondent No. 1 notifying the Rules for the J&K Combined Competitive Examination, by the Public Service Commission namely J&K Combined Competitive Examination Rules, 2018. The petitioners also seek quashment of Advertisement Notification No. PSC/EXAM/2018/38 dated 25.05.2018 issued by the Public Service Commission. 2. The grievance raised by the petitioners in this petition essentially pertains to the Combined Examinations conducted by the Public Service Commission in the year 2018. The said examination has not only been concluded but selection and appointments too have been since made. 3. In view of the aforesaid, this petition is rendered infructuous. It is because of this reason nobody has turned up to appear on behalf of the petitioners to prosecute and pursue this petition. 4. Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
