By means of the present petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent-authorities for their willful/deliberate disobediencefor not implementing the order and judgment dated September 21, 2017, passed in SWP No. 1715/2012 (Kavita Devi vs. State of J&K and anr.). 2. A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the writ court set aside the impugned communication dated 19.01.2011 issued by the Chief Education Officer, Rajouri as also the panels that were prepared in terms thereof. Further, the official respondents were also directed to determine the eligibility of the candidates as on 01.01.2010, and the said exercise was to be completed within a specified time frame. 3. Statement of facts/compliance report on behalf of the respondents has been filed which reveals that the directions issued by the Court stand complied with by the respondents and a detailed order No. ZEO/KH/417 dated 19.09.2019 was passed in this regard.But as the claim of the petitioner was found to be devoid of merit, the same was rejected on account of subsequent developments i.e. the State Administrative Council Decision No. 129/19/2018 dated 14.11.2018 and Government order No. 919-Edu dated 16.11.2018. 4. That being so, nothing substantive survives in the contempt petition and the same is, accordingly, the same is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
