1. By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to permit him to join as Senior Resident/Senior Demonstrator with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS) and to treat him as continuing in service.
2. This Court, vide interim order dated 10.08.2018, directed respondent No. 2-Director, Health Services, Jammu, to issue the requisite No Objection Certificate in favour of the petitioner so as to enable him to join the post of Senior Residency in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences pursuant to his appointment made vide order dated 12.07.2018.
3. After completion of his tenure, the petitioner joined the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu on 19.04.2021. Thereafter, the Directorate of Health Services forwarded the case of the petitioner regarding his rejoining/settlement of the period of authorized/unauthorized absence w.e.f. 04.08.2018 to 18.04.2021 to the Administrative Department for issuance of appropriate instructions.

The respondents, after considering the case of the petitioner, issued Government Order No. 221-JK(HME) of 2022 dated 21.04.2022, whereby the respondents have accepted rejoining of the petitioner afresh and monetarily with effect from the date he was posted. The aforesaid document is taken on record.
5. In view of the aforesaid, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek revival of the same, if any cause survives.
