JUSTICE SANJEEV KUMAR, JUDGE ORDER In this petition, the petitioner has called in question an order dated 01.05.2018, whereby the District Development Commissioner, Jammu, transferred the ad hoc services of the petitioner from his office to the Director General, Economics and Statistics Department, J&K, Janipur, Jammu. This petition was taken up for consideration by this Court on 28.05.2018 when this Court while issuing notice to the respondents for filing objections, also directed maintenance of status quo with regard to the position of the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid interim direction, the petitioner has been continuing in the office of the Additional District Development Commissioner, Jammu, since 28.05.2018. The main relief claimed by the petitioner, thus, stood granted at the outset, requiring no further adjudication of the matter.
