HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU
Case:- SWP No.817/2018
Palvi Gupta
…..Petitioner(s)
Through: None.
Vs
State & Ors. .….Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Monika Thakur, Advocate vice Mr. Ravinder Gupta, AAG
Coram: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY DHAR, JUDGE
ORDER (10.02.2026)
1. On 23.05.2025, the petitioner was directed to take steps for service of respondent No.4. As the needful was not done, another order was passed by this Court on 10.11.2025 whereby further time was granted to the petitioner, subject to payment of costs.
2. On the next date of hearing i.e., on 02.12.2025, none appeared for the petitioner. Today also nobody has appeared their behalf. As per the report of the Registry, neither the steps have been taken by the petitioner for effecting service upon respondent No.4 nor the costs in terms of order dated 10.11.2025 have been deposited. It seems that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the case. The same is dismissed for non-prosecution.
