By this contempt petition, petitioner herein has alleged non-compliance of the order dated 26.04.2018 passed by this court, wherein respondents were directed to consider the claim of the petitioner strictly in terms of the judgment passed by this court OWP No. 1406/2011. Respondent- corporation was directed to consider the allotment of shop in favour of the petitioner. 2. Compliance report stands filed by the respondents, it is stated that the claim of the petitioner has been considered and shop No. 81, Municipal Shopping Complex, Hazuri Bagh Block-E vide communication dated 22.12.2025, stands allotted in his favour. 3. Mr. Bikramdeep Singh, learned Dy.AG for respondents, has also produced copy of handover-takeover document, which specifies that the possession of the shop has been handed over to the petitioner and the same has been accepted by him. The document is taken on record. 4. Respondents have complied with the direction passed by this court in its letter and spirit. 5. Contempt petition is closed. OWP 1569/2017: 6. In the interest of justice, four weeks’ time is granted to learned counsel for the respondents for filing reply, with an advance copy to the other side. 7. List on 23.03.2026.
