Prayer in this Writ Petition is as under:- “to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly the one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not permitting me to write the final examination for MD General Medicine Course which I completed during the period 2006-2009 on the ground that I could not write the examination within a period of five years from the date of completing the course as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, malafide and against the principles of natural justice and Constitutional guarantees and to consequently 2 HCJ & CGR, J W.P.No.45251 of 2018 direct the respondents to immediately permit me to write the said examinations without any rider and to pass such other further order or orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.” 2. When faced with possibility of matter being rendered infructuous due to efflux of time, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he does not have any instructions in the matter and that he is unable to contact petitioner. 3. Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to petitioner to file an appropriate application within four (4) weeks in case of subsisting grievance. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
