PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: The Criminal Petition has been filed under Sections 439(2) and 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for brevity ‘the Cr.P.C.,’) seeking cancellation of the anticipatory bail granted to Accused Nos.3 to 7 vide order dated 20.02.2018 in Crl.M.P.No.83 of 2018 arising out of Crime No.14 of 2018 on the file of the Court of the X Additional District and Special Sessions Judge for Trial of SCs & STs (POA) Act Cases, Krishna at Machilipatnam. 2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner and respondent Nos.2 to 6. 3. Heard the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record. 4. As seen from the record, the matter has been pending since the year 2018. The anticipatory bail was granted to Accused Nos.3 to 7 on 20.02.2018 in Crl.M.P.No.83 of 2018 arising out of Crime No.14 of 2018 by the learned X Additional District and Special Sessions Judge for Trial of SCs & STs (POA) Act Cases, Krishna at Machilipatnam. Except seeking cancellation of the said bail, no valid grounds are placed before this Court warranting exercise of power under Section 439(2) of ‘the 3 Dr.YLR,J Crl.P.No.2545 of 2018 Dated 23.06.2026 Cr.P.C.,’ for cancellation of bail. This Court does not find any merit in the request of the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed. 5. In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
