ORDER:
To declare the action of the respondents in initiating proceedings under Section 6A of Essential Commodities Act, even though 6A petition received on 14.02.2018 as illegal and arbitrary, the present writ petition is filed. 2. The writ petition is of the year 2018. On 09.03.2026, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the learned counsel for the petitioner is no more and accordingly, this Court directed the Registry is issue notice to the petitioner. 3. Endorsement of the Registry goes to show that the notice sent to the petitioner returned with an endorsement ‘adressee not found’. When the writ petitions are pending consideration, the parties should invariably be in contact with their advocate and pursue their cases.
In the present case, the petitioner did not choose to atleast take steps to see that the

matter is represented before this Court. This shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________
