THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SUBHENDU SAMANTA CRIMINAL REVISION CASE NO: 1733/2017 The Court made the following ORDER:
None appears on behalf of petitioner. 2.
At the outset, it appears that the order under challenge before this Court has been passed by the A.P. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at Hyderabad in F.A. No. 711 of 2014 arising out of E.A. No. 03 of 2013 in C.C. No. 31 of 2008 on the file of the District Consumer Forum-II, Chittoor at Tirupati. This Court, vide order dated 30.10.2025, directed the Registry to verify whether this Court has jurisdiction to entertain such a Criminal Revision Application. It is reported by the Deputy Registrar of this Court, vide report dated 02.03.2026, that a Criminal Revision Case is not maintainable against an order passed by the Consumer Forum. 3. Taking note of the office report and also considering the fact that the instant Criminal Revision has been filed challenging the order of the A.P. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at Hyderabad, and in consonance with the report submitted by the Registry, the instant Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as not maintainable.
