1. This application seeks compliance of judgment passed by this Court on 19th February 2026, in which the following directions were given:
“43. As the proceedings have resulted in enhancement of the award, the following directions are passed: a) The amount of the award be deposited by the Insurance Company with the Tribunal, within a period of 8 weeks, alongwith interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of filing of the petition until deposit. b) The deposited amount lying in this Court, alongwith accrued interest therein, be transferred to the Tribunal forthwith. c) The amounts which would already have been released to the claimants, under the impugned award of the Tribunal, be released to him forthwith. d) The amount which is to be deposited pursuant to paragraph 43(a) above, may also be released to the claimant This is a digitally signed order. forthwith. e) The amount which was to be kept in further fixed deposits under the impugned award shall be disbursed in terms of the directions contained therein.” (emphasis added)

Mr. S N Prashar, Counsel appearing for claimants/applicants, states that the amounts lying deposited with UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch, have not been released in terms of directions as contained in paragraph 43(b) above in judgement dated 19th February 2026. 3. The rationale behind this direction was, firstly, to direct enhanced amount to be deposited by the Insurance Company with the Tribunal, as set out in paragraph 43 (a) above, which stands duly complied with, as per Ms. Prerna Mehta, Counsel for the Insurance Company. 4. Secondly, regards the subsequent direction in paragraph 43 (b), the same was to transfer the deposited amount along with accrued interest by the UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch, to the Tribunal. 5. Rest of the directions as mentioned in paragraph 43 (c), (d) & (e) are to be complied with by the Tribunal. 6. Accordingly, UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch is directed to forthwith transfer the entire deposited amount along with accrued interest to the Tribunal. 7.
Copy of this order be sent to UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch for compliance. 8. Application stands disposed of . 9.
