Lucy Gurum ayum Digitally signed by Lucy Gurumayum Date: 2026.05.05 16:47:30 +05'30' WP(C) No. 975 of 2017 Page 2 [2] After a lengthy argument, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the impugned order dated 11.12.2017 issued by the Secretariat, Tribal Affairs & Hills Department has not decided any issue about the chiefship or about the Boundary issue of the villages but only decided/allowed the application submitted by the petitioner for cancellation of the orders passed by the DC/SDO recognizing 5 Machet Villages, the petitioner would like to withdraw this writ petition by reserving all his rights to challenge any order issued by the government with regard to the chiefship or boundary of the villages in question. [3] Mrs. Ch. Sundari, learned GA appearing for the State respondent submitted that she has no objection. [4] Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the present writ petition is hereby closed by making it clear that the petitioner has the liberty to challenge any order issued by the government regarding the boundary issue or the chiefship of the villages in question.
