The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to allow the petitioners to work on the basis of their regular appointment letters dated 13.02.2017 (Annexures P-4 & P-5) and to release the pay and continue paying the same every month. Further, a writ of certiorari has been sought for setting aside the orders dated 25.08.2017 and 01.12.2017 (Annexures P-8 and P-11 respectively), passed by respondent No.3, vide which the petitioners have been ordered to work on contractual basis and upon refusal have been relieved from service, without following any procedure and law and against the service rules. 2. Shally Sharma and others', decided on 23.07.2026. 3. The present petition is also allowed in the same terms as CWP No.3248 of 2022 titled as 'Shally Sharma and others v. State of Punjab and others'. 4. Let the services of the petitioners be regularised in terms of the said judgment, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.
