1. Both these writ petitions are amenable for being decided through a common verdict on account of their being instituted by the same management and workman against a common award passed by the Industrial Tribunal.
2. It is apposite to record that during the pendency of these writ petitions, the workman was reinstated by the management and has, in the interregnum, retired from service upon attaining the age of superannuation.

3. In view of the supervening events, learned counsel appearing for the respective parties jointly submit that they do not wish to press these writ petitions.
