Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and learned counsel appearing for the Opp. Parties. 3. Petitioners have filed the present writ petition inter alia with the following prayer:- “The petitioners, therefore, most humbly pray that your Lordships would be graciously pleased to issue a Rule Nisi calling upon the Opp. parties to show cause as to why they should not be directed to allow/release the scale of pay Rs.9300-34,800/- plus grade pay Rs.4200/- of Head Clerk to the petitioners from the dates of promotion as Head Clerk as indicated in the chart at Annexure-1with all consequential benefits and arrear. And if the Opp. parties fail to show cause or sufficient cause, the rule be made absolute; And issue any other order/direction which would afford complete relief to the petitioners in the facts and circumstances of the case; Page 2 of 2. And for this act of kindness, the petitioners as in duty bound shall ever pray” 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that though highlighting their grievances, Petitioners have filed a representation at Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition before the Opp. Party No. 4, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, learned counsel for the Petitioners prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No. 4 to take a decision on the above noted Petition within a specific time period. 5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No. 4 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioners. 6.
