Maheswari, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 3 and 4. 2. Mr. A. K. Maheswari, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the relevant dates, he had no instructions in reference to the directions contained in the order dated 07.02.2017, passed in WP(C) No. 680/2016, whereby direction was issued to release the current salary of the petitioner for the month of February 2017 within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and arrear salary from August 2007 to January 2017 within a period of 4 (four) months. 3. Pursuant to notices issued, the matter was listed on several dates. On the last occasion, which is 31.08.2026, the counsel representing respondent Nos. 3 and 4 submits that the arrear salary claimed by the petitioner has been submitted to the Treasury Office, Dhemaji by Bill No. 00190 and Token No. 1816 dated 29.08.2026, and that is reflected in the communication dated 29.08.2026 issued by the BEEO, Dhemaji Block Elementary Education. 4. Today, when the matter is called up, Mr. Maheswari submits that the amount has indeed been submitted and received by the petitioner. He, however, submits that there is no break-up from which month the salary has been granted. He seeks liberty to approach the Authorities seeking information regarding that. Page No.# 3/3 5. Considering the submissions of the petitioner and the respondent and also in view of the fact that the amount has finally been released pursuant to the directions issued dated 07.02.2017, passed in WP(C) No. 680/2016. Although the Court deprecates the delay which had adopted in releasing the salary in compliance with the order. However, considering the fact that the amount has finally been released, Court does not wish to proceed any further in the contempt matter. 6. Accordingly, contempt petition stands closed. Notices so issued stands recalled. 7. Needless to say, petitioner is at liberty to approach the Authorities to seek information with regard to the break-up of the amount released.
