BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ROBIN PHUKAN ORDER 03.06.2026 Heard Mr. K. K. Dutta, learned counsel for the appellants and Mr. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 & 2. Also heard Mr. A. Acharya, learned counsel for the respondent No. 3. It is submitted at the bar that this matter was earlier referred to the ‘Lok Adalat’ and both the parties have settled the matter there and the respondent No. 3 herein, has agreed to pay a sum of Rs. 2,00,000/-, as additional amount and as such, this matter may be closed, by directing the respondent No. 3 to deposit the aforesaid amount before the Registry of this Court. Accordingly, it is provided that the respondent No. 3 shall deposit the aforesaid amount before the Registry of this Court, within a period of 6 (six) weeks from today. In terms of the above, this matter stands closed.
