BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR ORDER Date : 14.03.2026 Smt. Arati Haloi, the claimant is present in person, Ms. Hena Haflongbar, who represents the New India Insurance Assurance Company Ltd. (Insurance Company) is also present. The learned Tribunal had awarded an amount of Rs. 11,44,361/- plus interest @ 6% from the date of filing of the claim. The original award had been satisfied by the insurer and the present appeal has been preferred by the claimant. Today the parties have arrived at a settlement of an additional amount of Rs.6,50,000/- over and above of what was already paid to the claimant. In view of the settlement arrived at, the total compensation amount is now Rs. 27,01,635/-. The insurer shall now deposit an amount of Rs.6,50,000/- before the Registry of this Court within a period of 45 days from today and the same shall not carry any further interest. If there is a delay beyond 45
