Also heard Mr. N Upadhyay, learned standing counsel, Irrigation Department appearing for respondent Nos.1, 2, 3 & 6 and Mr. G Borah, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent No.4 & 5. 2. The petitioner was unrepresented on 05.04.2022, 18.09.2023 and thereafter on 07.02.2024, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that they are having no contact with their client. 3. Today when the matter is listed, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they have already intimated their client by way of a communication dated 07.03.2022, which was duly received by their client on 21.03.2022. 4. In this regard, the petitioner has also filed an affidavit annexing the track consignment report which goes to show that the aforesaid communication was delivered. Page No.# 3/3 5. In view of the aforesaid, this court is of the opinion that the petitioner might have lost interest in pursuing this matter. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed being not pressed.
