1. The matter has been listed under the heading of
“For referral to the Special Mediation Drive 2.0- Mediation for the Nation”.
2. The petitioner-husband in the marriage is before this Court challenging the order dated 12.04.2017 passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, Dhenkanal in I.A. No.6 of 2017 arising out of C.P. No.94 of 2016.
3. The said C.P. was filed at the instance of the husband in the marriage under section 13(1)(ia) & (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act which was transferred from the Court of jurisdiction at Delhi as per the direction of the Hon'ble Apex Court dated 04.08.2014 to be tried before the learned Judge, Family Court, Dhenkanal.
4. During pendency of the C.P., I.A. No.6 of 2017 was filed by the wife in the marriage under section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act which was allowed.
5. Today, memo of date is filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner which states thus:
“The writ petition is infructuous. Liberty may be granted to withdraw the petition”. (sic)
The memo is taken on record. Scanned copy be updated.
6. The Petition stands disposed of.
7. Copy of this order shall be forwarded to the learned Judge, Family Court, Dhenkanal to be kept in the records of C.P. No.94 of 2016.
