Heard Mr. Debaraj Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate for the opposite parties. 2. None appears for the petitioner on call, though the names of two counsels have been reflected in the cause list. 3. The petitioner as Marfatdar of Shree Shree Laxminarayan Mandir filed this writ petition on 21.06.2017 praying for settlement of Government land pertaining to Plot No.184, Khata No.267 of Mouza- Chadeya, P.S. Pattamundai in the district of Kendrapara in its favour. 4. Since filing this writ petition, the petitioner did not move this writ petition. 5. Mr. Debaraj Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that as per the provision under section 3 of the O.G.L.S. Act, this writ petition is not maintainable and the petitioner has alternative remedy for settlement of Government (Gochar) land. 6. In view of the petitioner might have not approached the Court after filing of this petition, this writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
