In terms of order dated 12.05.2016, passed in writ petition preferred by Shams Ul Haq Chund, panel in question dated 20.08.2013 was quashed and Director School Education, Jammu was directed to take fresh decision in that regard after providing opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as to the respondent No. 5. 2. Petitioner in the instant contempt petition was the respondent No. 5 in SWP No. 1898/2013. 3. In the compliance report filed by the respondents, they have banked upon closure of the RET Scheme, however, they have annexed the report of the Committee to assert that the petitioner herein was already displayed as rightful candidate for selection as RET in NPS Nilla Trigam by Director School Education, Jammu. Serial No. 81 2 CPSW No. 301/2017 4. Be that as it may, proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed and the same is accordingly disposed of, along with the connected application, by directing the respondents to comply with the directions issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case titled as Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and others vs. Saba Wani reported in 2026 INSC 439.
