The petitioner, by way of the present contempt petition, seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the Respondent-authorities, for willful/deliberate disobedience of the order dated 21.02.2017, passed in SWP No. 374/2017 (Jeet Raj & ors. vs. State of J&K and ors.). 2. The petition at hands is pending since 2017. 3. The records show that notices were issued to the respondents as back as on August 19, 2017. However, per Office report, the petitioner failed to submit the requisites. Resultantly, the respondents remained unserved. 4. None is present either on behalf of the petitioner to clarify if anything actually survives in the petition 5. That being so, the Court is choiceless but to dismiss the petition for non- prosecution.
