Respondent(s) Through: None Coram: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORDER 30.04.2026 Vide this petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent-Authorities for willful defiance of the order dated May 02, 2017 rendered by this Court in SWP No. 1723/2014 (Mohinder Singh V/s State of J&K & Ors.). A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to respondent No. 5 to declare his result (B.Ed Urdu) within a period of two weeks. Further, it was observed that upon declaration of result of the petitioner, respondent No. 1 to 4 shall take further action in accordance with law as regards the candidature of the petitioner. Status report on behalf of the respondents has been submitted which shows that in fact the result of the petitioner stood declared vide result notification dated June 26, 2015 and after correcting his name on July 10, 2015.
