Respondent(s) Through: None Coram: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORDER 30.04.2026 Vide this petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of the contempt proceedings against the respondent for not implementing the order and judgment dated December 22, 2016 rendered by the Writ Court in SWP No. 2775/2016 (Mohd. Ramzan Mir Vs. State and ors.) Compliance report on behalf of respondent has been filed and per which, the representation submitted by the petitioner was decided vide Agriculture Order No. 36/E of 2017 dated February 13, 2017 and consequently, the petitioner (Mohd. Ramzan Mir) has been promoted notionally as (GCO) in the Pay Scale of Rs. 2610-3540 w.e.f. 01.01.1992 and as “Plant Protection Operator” (PPO) notionally in the Pay Scale of Rs. 5200-20200+1900 GP w.e.f.01.04.2018 and the petitioner was also posted in District Kishtwar as “Plant Protection Operator” (PPO) against the available vacancy subject to clearance by the Departmental Promotion Committee. That being so, nothing substantive survives in the petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
