She submits that pursuant to the order dated March 03, 2017 passed by this Court, the claim of the petitioner was examined as regards fixation of his seniority from the date he was appointed in the Education Department. But, since as per the applicable rules his claim could not be countenanced and was found to be devoid of merit, it was accordingly rejected vide a speaking order dated December 31, 2018 (Annexure-R-2). That being so, it is submitted that nothing substantive survives in the petition, the same be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
