1. Vide this petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the Respondent-authorities, for willful/deliberate disobedience of the
judgment and order dated February 25, 2015, passed in SWP No. 346/2015 (Mohd. Irshad Lone and ors. vs. State of J&K and ors.).
2. A bare reading of the aforementioned order reveals that the petition was
disposed of with a direction to the respondent-Authorities to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate order in terms of the judgment dated 31.12.2007 rendered in SWP No. 961/2003 read with judgment passed in LPASW No. 49/2008 decided on 30.07.2009, provided the said judgments were applicable to the case of petitioner.
3. Compliance report on behalf of respondents has been filed. Per the averments set out in paragraph no.6 thereof, the claim of the petitioner, pursuant to order and judgment dated February 25, 2015, for appointment against Class IV posts was considered and rejected by the Government by passing a speaking
order No. 342-Edu of 2015 dated 20.07.2015.
4. That being so, nothing substantive survives in the contempt petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
