A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the respondent No. 2-Director School Education Jammu to decide the claim of the petitoner with regard to the payment of salary for the period she has performed her duties in accordance with law by way of a speaking order. The petition is pending for nearly a decade. None is present either on behalf of the petitioner to clarify if anything actually survives in the matter.
