Compliance report on behalf of the respondent No.1 has been submitted, paragraph III and IV thereof reveals that the claim of the petitioner was considered and rejected vide order dated September 26, 2017:
“III. That the case of the petitioner in terms of the directions of the Hon’ble Court dated 01.09.2017 in SWP No. 2175/2017, has been considered vide Government Order No. 81-DMRR&R of 2017 dated 26.09.2017. A Copy of Government Order dated 26.09.2017, is annexed as Annexure R-1. IV. That the aforesaid speaking orders were issued, keeping in view the overall vacancy position, all the posts i.e. 3000 Supernumerary posts created under the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Special Package for Return and Rehabilitation Scheme stands already filled up on the recommendations of recruiting agencies and the posts which remains unfilled due to non-availability of suitable candidates stands also filled up by the Government Order No. 62-DMRR&R of 2017 dated 08.08.2017, in compliance of the Hon’ble Court directions dated 02.05.2015, passed in LPA No. 207/2012, titled Ajay Raina & Ors V/s State of J&K and Ors coupled with the directions passed in different writ petitions. As such, the cases of the petitioner have been found devoid of any merit and rejected.”
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that nothing substantive survives in the petition and the same be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
Ordered accordingly.
