The petitioner, by way of the present contempt petition, seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the Respondent-authorities, for willful/deliberate disobedience of the judgment and order dated January 20, 2011, passed in SWP No. 92/2011 (Noor Hussain Shah & ors vs. State of J&K and ors.). 2. The record shows that despite opportunities, the petitioners have failed to take the necessary measures to serve the respondent. 3. The petition at hands is pending since 2017. 4. None is present either on behalf of the petitioners to clarify if anything actually survives in the petition. 5. That being so, the Court is choiceless but to dismiss the petition for non- prosecution.
