The prayer made in this petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to release the salary of the petitioner for the period w.e.f. March, 2016 till date, during which the petitioner has been continuously performing his duties in the department. 2. Since the matter pertains to a service dispute between the petitioner and the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir, it is amenable to the jurisdiction of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Jammu Bench. 3. Accordingly, this petition is transferred to the CAT, Jammu Bench. Upon receipt, the Tribunal shall fix a date of hearing after putting learned counsel for the parties to notice. 4.
