1. By this petition, the petitioner herein is seeking a direction upon the respondents to release the amount due to the petitioner to the tune of Rs. 18,14,124, which is due to the petitioner duly assessed by them along with interest @24% per annum.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that the respondents have already deposited an amount of Rs. 4,14,31,065/- with the Office of Deputy Commissioner Jammu. Now petitioner has to approach Deputy Commissioner, Jammu so that the amount can be released in his favour. Copy of the communication dated 19.07.2018, produced by Mr. Dewakar Sharma, learned Dy. AG is taken on record.
3. Today when the case was called, none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner has lost interest to pursue the instant petition, as such, the instant petition is dismissed for non- prosecution.
