The petitioner, through the medium of the present petition, seeks issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for quashing Order No. JKSRTC/GMA/Sgr/684 dated 12.07.2017 issued by respondent No. 3, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from the post of Traffic Manager, Pathankot to Depot Manager, Doda. The petitioner further seeks quashing of Order No. 597/JKSRTC/GMA of 2017 dated 03.07.2017 issued by respondent No. 3, whereby respondent No. 5 has been posted as Incharge Deputy General Manager (Operations), JKSRTC Jammu against a non-existing post, with the effect of rendering the petitioner junior and compelling him to work under respondent No. 5. 2. The petitioner also seeks a direction to the respondents to allow him to continue as Incharge Traffic Manager, Pathankot till his claim for promotion is considered and decided in terms of the orders dated 23.01.2015 passed in SWP No. 132/2015 and dated 22.06.2017 passed in SWP No. 1559/2017 titled ‘Kam Raj Kaila v. State & Others’. SWP No. 1812/2017 3. It is further prayed that the action of the respondents in transferring the petitioner from Incharge Traffic Manager, Pathankot to Depot Manager, Doda be declared illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law and actuated by mala fides and bias, particularly in view of the grievances projected by the petitioner and the representation submitted by him against the aforesaid illegal order. 4. Mr. Vinayak Phull, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, submits that he is under instructions to state that the petitioner has retired from the services of the JKSRTC w.e.f. 31.10.2018. In support thereof, he has placed on record communication dated 27.06.2022, which is taken on record. 5.
