By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents for conducting the screening test for the post of ReT Teacher in Government PS Khokhar Mohalla, Zone Manjakote in pursuance to Advertisement Notice No. CEOR/SSA/UPS/EV to RET/012-13/12972-82 dated 31.07.2012, and also to engage the petitioner as ReT teacher in view his eligibility, suitability and high merit in the village where the school is located. 2. The petitioner figured at Serial No. 10 in the merit panel prepared for Village Manjakote. After preparation of the merit panel, the respondent No. 5 did not display the select panel and instead forwarded the name of private respondent for the post of ReT Teacher, who figured at serial No. 13. After gaining the knowledge of above fact, the petitioner approached respondent No. 3 and 4 for display of the merit panel. However, when the SWP No. 154/2017 needful was not done, the petitioner filed an RTI application before the respondents seeking a copy of the merit panel, which, till date, has not been provided. The petitioner also approached this Court by way of SWP No. 2847/2016, wherein this Court had directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner. 3. This Court, vide interim order dated 02.02.2017, has directed that if the petitioner has applied for the post of Ret Teacher in Government Primary School, Khokhar Mohalla, pursuant to Advertisement No. CEOR/SSA/UPS/EV to RET/012-13/12972-82 dated 31.07.2012, then his screening test shall be conducted in accordance with the scheme. This order was, however, subject to objections. 4. Since 2017, the matter has not been listed and till date, the petitioner has not come forward to show whether his screening test has been conducted or he has assailed the recommendation, if any, made in favour of respondent No. 5. 5. Today, when the matter is taken up, no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner nor steps have been taken for listing the matter. 6.
