By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents for conducting the screening test for the post of ReT Teacher in Government Middle School, Dingla in pursuance to Advertisement Notice No. CEOP/RET/14559-62 dated 26.09.2013, and also to engage the petitioner as ReT teacher in view his eligibility, suitability and high merit in the village where the school is located. 2. The case of the petitioner is that she applied for the post of RET Teacher under the ALC category as per the advertisement dated 26.09.2013 issued under Government Order dated 08.05.2013 and figured at Serial No. 01 in the merit panel prepared for Village Dingla. However, instead of selecting candidates from the ALC category, the respondents considered candidates from the ST category and prepared a merit list including the private respondent, who is less meritorious. Aggrieved of the same, the petitioner approached this Court by way of SWP No. 537/2014, which stayed the SWP No. 154/2017 selection list and directed the authorities to consider her case, after which her name was included in the screening list. 3. Later, without any reason, the respondents removed the petitioner’s name and forwarded the private respondent for the screening test. The petitioner alleges that this was done unfairly and with bias to favour the private respondent. She further states that as per Government Order dated 26.12.2013, such posts are not meant for 100% reservation and should be open to all eligible local candidates. The actions of the respondents are therefore arbitrary and illegal, and despite her representation, no decision has been taken so far. 4. This Court, vide interim order dated 02.02.2017, has directed that if the petitioner has applied for the post of Ret Teacher in Government Middle School, Dingla, pursuant to Advertisement No. CEOP/RET/14559-62 dated 26.09.2013, then her screening test shall be conducted in accordance with the scheme. This order was, however, subject to objections. 5. After 2017, the matter has not been listed and till date, the petitioner has not come forward to show whether her screening test has been conducted or she has assailed the recommendation, if any, made in favour of respondent No. 5. 6. Today, when the matter is taken up, no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner nor steps have been taken for listing the matter. 7.
