The petitioner, through the medium of the present petition, has challenged order dated 09.05.2011, whereby he was disengaged from the post of SPO with effect from 20.01.2011. 2. This Court, vide order dated 30.05.2017, observed that the writ petition had been filed after a delay of six years and directed learned counsel for the petitioner to file a supplementary affidavit explaining the delay in filing the petition. 3. Thereafter, the matter has been listed today. However, neither any supplementary affidavit has been filed nor there is any appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Even no steps have been taken by the petitioner to get the matter listed. 4. It is, thus, evident that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the present writ petition.
